Mrityar Maa Amrtam Gamaya
My first foray into zinc plate etching. The process was incredibly long and complex, but it was well worth it. Tibetan mandalas & Thangka paintings were my main inspiration for this piece. The text is a Sanskrit phrase from the Sacred Hindu text the Upanishads meaning "Lead me from death to immortality".
